If my Auntie Ruby says these are the best croissants outside Paris, it must be true. I finally got over to Boulange de Polk (Polk @ Green) to check it out. The almond croissant is indeed as good as claimed, maybe better. Many layered and flaky crisp, sticky almond paste and topped with lots of crunchy sliced almonds. Not one of those big puff ball pretenders.
Can't wait to try more of the pastries here. Closed on Monday and Tuesday.
