Alexander Valley Grille @ Chateau Souverain

We enjoyed a wonderful lunch at the restaurant at Chateau Souverain in Geyserville. We opted for the three course lunch for $19.95/ per person.

My lunch started with the Chateau Souverain House Salad which was very good. My entree was the blackened halibut & fresh herb salad sandwich with lime-cilantro aioli. Excellent! Served with sides of Chateau fries and Souverain slaw.

The dessert was a trio of mini sorbets which were beautifully presented in a wine glass with a pink grapefruit at the bottom of the glass. Blackberry, mango and raspberry sorbets were very colorful and very good.

I ordered a Sparkling pear juice which was very sweet and refreshing, since I knew we would be tasting after lunch. Your server will give you a wine cork that you present to the pourer at the tasting room. You will receive a complimentary tasting of four wines and a 20% discount on your wine purchase. We really liked the Sauvignon Blanc.

A wonderful lunch at a beautiful winery. I highly recommend this place to anyone in the area. Bon Appetit! ***kim***
