Has anyone been - or even heard of it? I was eating lunch at Andy's Coffee Shop in Pasadena today and the owner of Andy's and the owner of Di Peppe's came over to me (they had some great-looking Italian food at the back booth and I asked the waitress if they were serving spaghetti, and she said that a friend of the owner had brought that food for the Andy's employees from his restaurant). Apparently the waitress had mentioned to him that I was asking about the Italian food which was sitting there.
He brought over and introduced me to the owner of Alex's and gave me a card. He told me they have great Tabasco (?) chicken.
I plan on going to try it out, but was wondering if anyone has ever been. Apparently it is a little hole in the wall (seats 60) that has been around since 1969. Please let me know what you think/thought. TIA!
