Wasn't that the macguffin in "Chinatown?"... Whatever the case... the best albacore I've had recently (it was seared) was at Saito Sushi Bar in Silver Lake, to which Sheryl and I were tipped by several posters on here. Oomkase cost us fifty dollars a piece including quite a bit of sake and (for me, at least) a generous tip. Good deal and good food. We'll be back. (Note to Rafi: according to the chef, the scallops are from Maine.)
