Afternoon Tea and Dinner Restaurant for Girly Girl Weekend?

My cousin is moving cross country, so 4 of us girls decided to do a girly girl weekend before she goes (May 14-15). We thought afternoon tea would be a fun thing to do. We were hoping to do the Huntington Library tea, but their online reservation system keeps failing so I don't know if they can accomodate us. If that falls through, what are some other options? We are all in the SFV, but are willing to drive a bit, and then are planning on getting a hotel room at the Mondrian or the W or something like that for the night and having dinner and breakfast near the hotel. Restaurant suggestions for 4 ladies who enjoy good food and good drinks around those hotels would be great too. I'd like to keep dinner at $20-25/pp for food only since we'll be splurging on our tea (hopefully).
