I have a short trip to NYC planned for later this month. I already have a lunch booked at Momofuku Ko and I am looking for a dinner the night before. Right now my shortlist is EMP, Colicchio & Sons, Jean Georges, and Lincoln. I really am struggling with this decision. My top choice is EMP but they are fully booked and I am on a waiting list. JG is almost full so if I choose that one I need to decide quickly. But Colicchio and Lincoln are both a bit cheaper than the other choices and uhockey's recent review of Lincoln looked very good but my wife is gluten intolerant and though the reservationist said they could do substitutions, I am obviously a bit concerned with how this will affect her meal. I recognize that the cuisines of these restaurants are very different but I am really open to all of these. Can someone offer a suggestion? Last year I visited Le Bernardin and Per Se and really loved those experiences. I guess that JG would offer the most similar experience but I just don't know if I am fully convinced with the menu.
