8 days in NYC

This is my first post here, but I'd like to thank Chowhound for all the posts I've read antecipating my trip in April14. You helped me a lot! I stayed 8 days and I'd like to share my impressions with you.
April 14: breakfast at Clinton street Baking Company (Ihad the blueberry pancakes, which were amazing and my companion had eggs benedict); quick lunch at Katz (both of us had the pastrami sandwich, which were as terrific as our last year's trip in April 2009); drinks at PDT (outstanding!); more drinks at Mayahuel with tortillas and another dish that mixes scallops and chorizo which were very good.
April 15: capuccinos and cupcakes at Sugar Sweet Sunshine (we had lemon and pistacchio. IMO, the pistacchio ones were the best cupcakes of my stay in NY); we didn't want to sit for lunch so we had hot dogs at Gray Papaya's; drinks at Death+Company; dinner at Pearl Oyster Bar (fryed oysters, then we both had lobster rolls, which I had been dreaming of since April 2009).
April 16: we had a late breakfast at Schiller's (I had bagel and lox; he had scrambled eggs with bacon and fries);; 2 Little Red Hens cupcakes (strawberry and raspberry) at Dean and Deluca (they were very good, although I would have better tryed other flavors, but their shop was a bit out of our way as our hotel was in LES). Then at dinner, we went to the highlight of the trip: Le Bernardin. At the bar, dry martinis with pistacchio petit fours. We had the small version of the tasting menu, with a crab salad as amuse-bouche; tuna and toasted baguette with foie gras (fantastic); octopus and fermented black beans (delicious); scallops carpaccio (I asked the maitre if I could have scallops instead of any dish and he suggested changing the skate one, it was amazing!); strip bass with corn cannelonni (good); kobe beef with white tuna (amazing); for dessets we had first the mascarpone, which was good and the excellent pear and cinnamon caramel parfait; then espressos and mingardises. It was a fantastic experience!
