6 Thumbs Down for New Tony & Lill's & Mike's Alehouse on Irving

There used to be 2 good places on NW side on Irving: Tony & Lill's by Laramie & Mike's Alehouse by Central; on June 1 they combined the 2 at the Laramie location and unfortunately our table of 6 gives it 6 thumbs down thanks to our June 9 visit. We gave them a week to break in the new deal but there was no draft beer in the Alehouse portion - "coolers not working" - and no ribs in the food portion - "delivery truck didn't show today" ... and then it took 2 hours for appetizers - chicken wings but forgot the shrimp! - and 2.5 hours for pizza - 2 thin & 1 pan ... it's a small place and it had 2 servers & 2 bartenders, but poor service; we were constantly asked if we wanted more beer but never offered any freebies during our 3 hour stay. (and $120 final tab) Can it get worse? Yes. We were with a cousin of a former owner and we still got screwed. Lastly, we were with a bar/restaurant reviewer for print & radio, so I can't wait for the public review. It was a very bad experience to say the least. So 6 thumbs down equals ZERO stars.
