6 Hours in Rome

marshalmissy | Apr 30, 2011 05:32 AM

I've got a 13 hour layover in Rome and staying near the airport. This is a rare chance for me to eat in Rome and I want to make the most of it.

I'll need to sleep for a couple of hours, but plan on being in the city between 10a and 4p. I don't know if most places are open during these hours, but that's what I've got to work with.

I love all food and am not picky about what I want to eat--I just want it to be good, memorable, and no more than 30 USD for one person's meal. I prefer hole in the wall cheap, where the food is so good there's no where to sit because everyone wants to eat the good food.

Can anyone help this solo traveler out???

Thanks in advance!
