I'm planning a 40th birthday dinner for a very good friend of mine. We are looking for a place that would be festive, fun (but not cheesy/silly), with delicious food and comfortable seating for a party of 8-10. Price not a major obstacle, but if the place is affordable, then that would be a bonus.
Currently under consideration are:
Vibrato Grill (would this work for a party of 8-10? How is the food?)
Dar Maghreb (I didn't see any recent reviews on this place -- is the food good, or is it more of a kitchy bellydancing scene?)
I've been to AOC a couple of times with this friend -- I also feel like the small plates thing could get a little out of hand for a large group, which is why it's not in the running.
I'd love to hear your thoughts on these and any other ideas I've missed. Thanks!
