4-days in NO (longish)

Had a great time. Dinner at RioMar: ceviche taster (note: all 4 were great but the Panamanian w/ habanero peppers and lime was incredible beyond description), Gulf Shrimp - WOW! (thanks for suggestion, Doc) and bottle of shiraz. Too full for dessert. Brunch at Commanders Palace. Turtle soup, roasted quail bread pudding soufle, champangne and bloody mary's. OK, it was $100 for breakfast for 2 but somehow still worth it. Other meals were not reserved but just places to fill up in the midst of sightseeing: Remoulade, Angeli's, Rita's, actually we never found a bad place. Went to Cooter Brown's one afternoon on way back from zoo (we're also beer lovers). The fifty or so drafts can be found pretty much anywhere in the country , but some of the bottle were real finds. In particular, we like the polish porter and (drum roll please) the Urboch 23 (Austrian). If you've havn't had the Urboch 23 you simply havn't lived. As in many places around, everyone was talking food the whole time.......
