Ventured to Red Hook last night to try 360, at 360 Van Brundt. $20 prix fixe menu, choice of, I think, 3 appetizers, 2 entrees, 2 desserts. Everyone was happy with their choices, which included as appetizers: beef borek, sardines and cheese in puff pastry; entrees: pollack or pork chop, both with well prepared vegetables; and desserts: chocolate cake and creme caramel. There are also various appetizers and desserts available ala carte.
The owner is a wine guy, and the list is perhaps half a dozen reds and as many whites, all French from less known regions. The mark-up looks to be about double retail.
Cash only for awhile, open Thurday through Sunday.
