I have $200-$300 for dinner for 2

I'm an eater and foodwriter, but in a strange situation where my boss told me to spend $200-300 dollars on dinner this weekend on my credit card--he'll pay me back. Of course I want to take him up on it, and I have to do it *fast*, but I'm so used to looking for great food on the cheap that frankly I'm stumped. I'd need reservations most places (Craft, etc.) and also my date is a casual guy who likes wearing blue jeans best (can't blame him there). Any suggestions for a great place, casual enough, where I could get in without calling weeks in advance (and still spend gobs of someone else's money on a memorable meal!)? I'll try to get in tonight or tomorrow, I think
