Still trying to get some must-do lunch options before we get there Wednesday. There were some places I was really interested in, ethnic places, but found out they were only dinner.
Our dinners are set and are all New American or French haute cuisine, so our first choice would be to find unbeatable ethnic lunches. They can still be expensive or "fine dining", but they should be special. We're looking for lunches that will be standard-bearers for their respective cuisines, hopefully, in future trips.
Something for lunch on Saturday would be nice, too. I'm sure we'll go to the farmer's market in the Ferry Building that morning, but need something after.
What's the best of the best, the stuff for lunch that when you travel you say, "Man, I miss .... They just don't make ... like they do back home." Low-brow, high-brow, just good chow. Convince me.
