1st time at Brent's Deli

I stopped in at Brent's Deli for a pastrami sandwich on Sunday, found the place packed and went straight for the take out counter; it took about 5 minutes to get my order in and waited about 20 minutes for order. I was chatting with a gentleman buying a tongue sandwich for his elderly father; we were talking about great Deli's from LA past: Canter's, Vickmans, Morts (Anybody else see Curb your enthusiasm, that was Mort's right? Where Larry gets his own sandwich?) Got my sandwich, paid $11.50 and I was out the door. Drove a block down Parthenia to Necrocomicon; ate my sandwhich.

Pastrami was delicious, tender moist. Rye bread was fresh, still warm from oven. Cole Slaw was good, but the pickles they served really sucked. NO flavor at all.
