15 RIA

Fellow chowhounds,

I and a friend ate at 15 RIA last night, both of us for the first time. I asked for my barbecued skirt steak (Tues. night special) to be served without the sauce but the waitress forgot and it was swimming in sauce. My friend's salmon was undercooked. Within a minute or 2 of serving us, someone came by to check to see if our food was alright, so we mentioned the sauce and the undercooked fish. Both problems were quickly and graciously rectified. My steak was delicious as was his salmon. When 15 RIA first opened I remember people raving about both the marcaroni and cheese and the onion rings so I chose them both as side dishes since you get to choose 2 side dishes with the nightly special. Neither of them were particulary good, just so so. The skirt steak, however, was superb and left me anxious to try some of their other nightly specials such as "roast suckling pig" (Wed. nights). Anyone else been there and care to give your impressions?
