Muji’s Eerily Accurate Milk Tea Cookies

The Japanese brand Muji is known for minimalist home goods and distinctive packaging, but not necessarily for food, says gyozagirl. But the company’s tea cookies reproduce the flavor of milk tea with eerie accuracy. “It literally tasted like I was chewing on a cup of room-temperature tea, sugar, and milk!” says gyozagirl. “It was almost like a Willy Wonka moment.”

dreamsicle likes Muji’s steamed bread baking kits, especially the green pea and edamame flavor. They’re fun to make, too: “You just blend the powdered mix with milk or water, and pop the mixture in the microwave for a minute or so, and voila, fresh steamed bread,” says dreamsicle.
