His favorites are peanut butter, with nuts ground by the baker herself, and ginger, studded with bits of candied ginger—both "nice and crisp-chewy." She also makes tasty sugar- and fat-free cookies with nothing artificial added, just extra nuts and dried fruit. "She's very friendly and obviously puts a lot of care into her products," Tom adds. "One gets the sense that she's honed her recipes over time and is making cookies exactly the way she likes them."
